Stay Ahead of the Curve with Our Services &Trainings!

As the economy opens up and your business begins to thrive again, we want to continue our dedication and support for you and your employees. As we reopen together, we wanted to take this time and share some re-minders about other HR related topics and deadlines.

• SECURE Act, Retirement, and 401(k). Passed in December 2019, the SECURE Act aims to provide more Americans with tax-advantages and prepare for retirement. It also introduces ways for part-time employees to gain a 401(k) as well as enable small business owners to set up less expensive retirement plans that FFHR and our 401(k) partners assist with administering. Certain size employers are required to offer benefits and retirement plans to employees. Contact our Retirement expert today to begin setting up your company’s plan or to get better renewal rates!

• Sexual Harassment Any employer with five or more employees must provide prevention training to all employees by January 1, 2021. Trainings must be one hour in length for non-supervisory employees and two hours in length for supervisory employees. The trainings must take place within six months of hire or promotion and renewed every two years. Firm Foundation has access to online trainings to make it conven-ient for you and your employees to schedule. We will also manage certificates and dates of renewal for you so you can focus on what you do best. Contact our HR specialist today for more information!
